AGAS identified a path breaking technology which will crack heavy petroleum wastes and waste plastics/rubbers into lighter. AGAS developed this innovative technology from lab scale to pilot scale using extensive studies and the same is now ready for commercialization as a result of in-depth researches in India and USA. This novel process known as Catalytic Depolymerization can be used for cracking heavy petroleum wastes and waste plastics/rubbers into usable lighter fuels and usable carbon residue, without generating any disposable waste, thereby converting wastes into valuable products.
This process will produce following products:
- Mainly diesel range fuel
- A lower percentage of Naphtha range light fuel
- Bottom residue, that is predominantly carbon and some inorganics present in the feed
- Incondensable hydrocarbon gases which can be used as fuel
